Charming stay with a twist
Had a blast! The staff were super friendly, and the room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was a highlight—loved the eggs benedict. Just one thing, the elevator was a bit sketchy, skipped my floor a couple of times.

The Castle provided a spacious double room perfect for my family. My kids loved the breakfast buffet and we appreciated the welcoming staff who secured our bikes overnight. Though the parking fee was a bit unexpected, it didn’t overshadow our enjoyable stay.

Charming Ambiance with Room for Improvement
A delightful stay featuring charming period decor. The bustling bar offered a delightful drink selection, perfect for unwinding. the room fell short in comfort due to outdated features. Consider arriving early to enjoy breakfast, but be prepared for limited options. Parking charges may catch you off guard.

The picturesque setting near the town center was quite charming, though the room felt outdated and lacked basic amenities like convenient power outlets. Service was friendly, yet some processes, like parking and pre-ordering meals, were inconvenient. Still, the overall atmosphere made it a memorable experience.

The hotel was lovely, with friendly staff and a stunning building. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast and relaxing drinks in the beautiful gardens. The kids loved the spacious room and the atmosphere was perfect for our family stay.
My children wished for some soundproofing to make it quieter for sleeping. It would be great if there were some better noise insulation for families.

The hotel's location shines. right in the heart of town, everything from shops to restaurants is easily within walking distance. Loved the powerful shower. getting the temperature just right felt like a rare treat.
The room felt pretty dated, with decor and fittings reminiscent of the '80s, and the plumbing jangled in ways that weren't exactly soothing. The breakfast setup was chaotic during my stay, especially with a wedding party overwhelming the breakfast area, leaving both the buffet and staff in a scramble. charging £10 for parking felt a bit off given the already steep room rates—I expected a more straightforward value for what I paid.
